Woman reveals disaster date with man who disappeared mid-way through their meal and never returned

Some of us are luckier in love than others and, unfortunately, one woman found this out the hard way.

Annie Goodwin, who hails from across the pond in Washington, opened up about her disaster date with a man who disappeared mid-way through their meal and never returned.

She took to TikTok to document the bizarre saga and viewers are beyond baffled.

Annie began by telling her thousands of followers it was her 'very first date of 2024' with the overlay text really setting the tone for what was about to come: "If you needed a reason to delete Hinge..."

Getting off to pretty rocky start, the TikToker revealed she was supposed to meet her date at the restaurant but, unfortunately, her car wouldn't start.

So, she texted the bloke asking if he could come pick her up, adding: "Usually, I don't let men pick me up, but I'm gonna need somebody to help jump my car."

The TikTok then panned to the date itself, which took place in a busy restaurant, revealing: "He literally left me here."

The overlay text explained: "He went to the bathroom and never came back."

She then cut to being back home, telling viewers: "As you just saw, um, man's left me.

"He picked me all the way up, he drove me all the way to the bar, and then he ordered a drink and he drank the whole drink and then he went to the bathroom and never came back."

Annie went on to add she had 'not much to say' but also pointed out: "Not only did he order a drink, drink the whole drink and then leave and not pay for the drink - he also left me stranded.

"He left me knowing damn well that I was stranded because my car hadn't started. So he picks me up, right? He knew that I was stranded."

She then revealed her date blocked her on everything which was somewhat 'expected' by Annie considering his behaviour.

"But yeah, so that was my very first date of 2024 and that will be the last."

And the kicker?

The runaway date was a therapist, with Annie warning: "So ladies, watch the f**k out if he's your therapist."

Viewers were left beyond perplexed by the whole situ with one asking: "What happened??? Why did he leave so quickly???"

"I need the whole story plssss," demanded another.

A third chimed in: "Wait this is insane."

Big yikes.
