Laura Anderson mum-shamed after showing off newborn daughter Bonnie’s nursery

Laura Anderson mum-shamed after showing off newborn daughter Bonnie’s nursery

Trolls rained in over posts of her daughter's nursery

People are flooding to social media in defence of Laura Anderson after trolls rained in on the ex-Love Islander over posts of her daughter's nursery.

Anderson - who appeared on season four of the ITV reality dating show - welcomed her first child, Bonnie, earlier this month on 2 September. Anderson shares her daughter with actor Gary Lucy - whom she met last year on E4's Celebs Go Dating.

Anderson has given fans a glimpse into her early days as a mum, however, she's unfortunately received some nasty comments in response. Take a peek at Bonnie's nursery here:

Taking to Instagram over the weekend, Anderson shared a video of Bonnie's nursery, filling followers in on where she bought certain items from.

The video shows a beautiful 'dreamy nursery' with everything a baby could possibly need inside.

Everything is bright, fluffy and there's a cloud theme - a cloud light sign on the wall above baby Bonnie's bed.

The caption reads: "The Dreamy Nursery I never thought I’d have or actually use ☁️

Sadly, some people clearly didn't listen to their parents when they were told 'if you don't have something nice to say, say nothing at all' - taking to Anderson's post to have a go.

One user said: "No one needs a nursing [sic]. Who puts There baby in a nursing it’s for show."

A second commented: "Did u no your changing mat is upside down x the open part goes by baby’s head x so if they wee it catches at the bottom x"

"Your changing mat is upside down, has to go the other way round to catch the wee!" wrote a third.

"How do you know she isn’t using it like that," another of Anderson's followers quickly shot back.

Anderson also received criticism on a photograph of her feeding Bonnie.

On a photograph of Anderson breastfeeding Bonnie naked, one user criticised the TV star for not covering up.

They wrote: "You look naked @lauraanderson1x have some class and dignity as a mother."

Thankfully, other users sprung to her defence, one responding: "Why don’t you have some class and dignity and keep your invalid opinion to yourself. Jesus Christ!

"I hope you never have a daughter if you think it’s acceptable to speak to a woman that’s just had a baby like this. Horrible."

Tyla has contacted Anderson's representatives for comment.
