We've all had hair dye mishaps in the past but one woman on TikTok might have outdone us all by showing the shocking aftermath after trying to dye her hair blue.
Kinsey Dixon posted the video which shows her hands, feet and face completely covered in blue hair dye. Luckily she was able to see the funny side by captioning the clip "I'm blue Dabi dee dabi da", a totally relevant reference to the song Blue Da Ba by Eiffel 65.

"Do you think my grandma will notice I dyed my hair?" she jokes in the clip, as she films her blue skin and the shower which has also been dyed in the process.

People rushed to the comments section for answers. "I thought you were wearing blue latex gloves on your hands and feet," one commenter wrote.
"She has unlocked level: Avatar," another user quipped.
A third said: "If [you're] trying to be in the cast of the next Avatar movie just say so".

One comment, which received more than 128,000 likes, reads: "you got some bathroom on your hair dye."
"Mama smurf" said another TikTok user.
Hours after she posted the video, Kinsey replied to a comment asking for an update. "So, yes it [hair dye] did hold. Yes, I'm still blue. My grandma still does not know about any of this. It was my own fault because when I was taking a shower and I didn't realise how bad my shower was."
She then explains that shoe used her hands to stroke the hair dye into her hair which left her arms and most of her body blue.

"I am still blue. The only thing i've been able to get this off with is make-up wipes... and I have work today so I don't know how they're going to react!"
