Woman Accidentally Sends Man Screenshot Of His Own Message After Bad Tinder Date

Ever typed out a savage text about somebody and accidentally sent it to them by accident? We bet you have.

It's a painfully cringe incident which has happened to all of us at one point or another. We've all got a story, but we think we've just heard the most embarrassing one yet.

Yep, Twitter user Harry, who was on the receiving end of someone's toe-curling gaff, was so mortified by the accidental text he received that he has now sworn off dating apps - which gives you some idea of just how brutal it was.

After going on what he thought was a successful Tinder date and asking to see the woman in question again, Harry was instead sent a screenshot of his own message back, alongside a rather mean response.

The Leeds local had contacted his date - saved as 'Rachel Tinder' - and wrote: "Hey, I had a really nice time last night... would love to see you again some time?"

But in a reply that clearly wasn't meant for him, Rachel sent a picture of his text straight back to him, alongside the abbreviation: "LMAO". Yikes.

Realising her error, 'Rachel Tinder' then quickly followed up with "Oh my god I'm so sorry".

However, clearly, by this point, the damage had already been done.

Sharing the unfortunate exchange with his followers, Harry simply wrote: "I'm deleting tinder".

The post quickly picked up over 2,620 likes and 24,000 retweets - with several Twitter users clearly empathising with the painful situation.

Rallying around Harry, people were quick to offer their own messages of support.

"Keep your head up king," one wrote, while another quipped: "Rachels are not to be trusted chief".

"I felt this thru the screen," another chipped in.

As a fourth commented: "Bruh she didn't even save your contact". Ouch.

Naturally, others put themselves in Rachel's shoes, too, though.

Sharing her own embarrassing text in which she had messaged her friend Dan saying 'don't let me make out with Dan tonight,' one woman simply wrote: "Welcome to the crew".

While another tagged her friend and said: "ITS US".

PSA: Always double check who you're sending that text to, girl.
