McDonald's Is Giving Away Free Carrots For Santa's Reindeer

McDonald's Is Giving Away Free Carrots For Santa's Reindeer

This is so cute!

It's Christmas Eve! And kids around the country (and big kids too!) are getting ready for Santa's arrival.

We are, of course, leaving out some treats for Father Christmas - a mince pie and a glass of milk - as well as some snacks for Rudolph too.

After all, they need lots of energy if they're going to be delivering presents to children around the globe!

And offering a helping hand, McDonald's is giving away free bags of baby carrots - which they've renamed reindeer treats - this Christmas Eve.

No purchase is necessary, all you need to do is pop in to your local Maccies to collect the snacks - usually priced at 99p - while stocks last.

Once you've picked up your treats, you can leave them out for Rudolph and the other reindeers!

In other important festive news, last week we told you how you can transform Alexa into Santa Claus this year.

It turns out that your Amazon Echo has a Christmas surprise of its own this year, and all you need to do is say the magic words.

Not only can you interact with Santa Claus through your device, but you can even ask Alexa where Santa is on his present delivery route or get her to sing you a Christmas song.

To communicate with Santa Claus through your Alexa, all you have to do is say: "Alexa, enable 'Hey, Santa.'"

Before you know it, you can have Father Christmas telling stories, cracking jokes, and singing songs for your home.

If you're going to be busy binging Christmas films this year, one The Santa Clause fan has come up with a fascinating theory about the film's elves - and it actually makes a lot of sense.

Writing on Reddit, one fan claimed the elves don't age based on how many years they've lived, but on their seniority within the workshop.

You can read more on that here.
