Netflix has been treating us with some unmistakably great series lately.
It seems like no matter what we click, we’re gonna be in for a treat.
It was no different when 3 Body Problem, which was released on Netflix UK last month on 21 March, hit our screens.

The spine-tingling and hugely addictive sci-fi series was so popular with viewers that it amassed an incredible 81,000,000 viewing hours in just one week.
Many people were so hooked they binged the lot - and now people are begging for a second season.

3 Body Problem was brought to viewers by Game Of Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, alongside True Blood’s Alexander Woo.
Loosely based on the novel 'The Three-Body Problem' by Liu Cixin, it handles the fallout of a woman’s fateful decision during the cultural revolution of 1960’s China and the issues it continues to cause in the present day.
Netflix says of the series: “When the laws of nature inexplicably unravel, a tight-knit group of brilliant scientists must join forces with an unflinching detective and a mysterious intelligence agency to save the world."

It boasts an amazing cast, including Eiza González as Auggie, Marlo Kelly as Tatiana and Benedict Wong as Da Shi.
Although a second series is yet to be confirmed, fans have taken to social media to profess their love for the imaginative series and demand more in the future.
One user wrote: “3 body problem series on Netflix is a 10/10.”
Another said: “Netflix better allow a season 2 to 3 Body Problem.”

A third chimed in: “I've read "3 Body Problem" (about three years ago). So strange to see it adapted for TV @netflix ... not an obvious choice! But what an adaption. Binge watched it all! Now I'm thwarted and NEED Season 2! Bravo!”
The eight-episode sci-fi hit, which has an impressive 81% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, is far from over, at least in the creators’ minds.
Speaking to Inside Total Film podcast and GamesRadar+, Benioff, Weiss and Woo shared that they have begun planning what future series would look like.

Woo said: “Well, there’s three novels in the trilogy. The novels get longer and longer so I wouldn't say it maps out exactly to three.
“We have some really strong ideas about what to do in a season two, and then it’s a little hazier down the line. But we want to get to the end, we want to get to the end of the trilogy.
“The goal is to get to the end of the trilogy and it seems like it would map out over probably, certainly more than two seasons but beyond that, it’s hard to know exactly.”
Fingers crossed they announce a second series...and soon!
