There's nothing better than finding a new series to binge-watch and Amazon Prime viewers think they've found a banger.
The drama premiered on Prime Video on 10 April and has already gained critical acclaim.
In a future dystopian Los Angeles, we see the aftermath of the Great War of 2077, a nuclear decimation brought about by the fight for nuclear resources.

Survivors of the war took refuge in underground bunkers known as Vaults.
But little did they know that they were designed to perform psychological experiments on their inhabitants.
More than 200 years after the war, a young woman named Lucy (played by Ella Purnell) leaves behind her home in Vault 33 to venture into a devastated and dangerous Los Angeles to look for her father.

Sound familiar? That's because Fallout is based on the role-playing video game franchise of the same name released between 1997 and 2004.
Since its release just last week, the series, which stars Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan and Moisés Arias, has been met with critical acclaim.
It's received a 94 percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with the website's critics' consensus reading: "An adaptation that feels like a true extension of the games.
"Fallout is a post-apocalyptic blast for newcomers and longtime fans alike."

And fans are loving it too, with many saying they binged the whole thing in just a day.
One user wrote on X (Twitter): "Fallout on Amazon Prime was good TV, great binge but now I’m sad cause season one done."

Another added: "And I’ll binge it all in a day again too, don’t tempt me. I’ve been on a Fallout craze AGAIN. THANKS, AMAZON. "
A third person said they 'binge-watched season 1 in two days,' and a fourth called it 'top class.'
And don't worry if you aren't well-versed in the Fallout universe. X users say it doesn't matter.

One explained: "If I was a person that never played the games and knew nothing of the story, then I would think that was a great sci-fi, post-apocalyptic show. Great acting, good pacing, and great mix of genres...
"But as someone who DID play at least some of Fallout 3 and most of Fallout 4 as well as nerd out on some lore well before the Amazon series was announced, that show was done beautifully well.
"I've always believed video game adaptations are better suited as a series... And this ABSOLUTELY proves my point."
