Married At First Sight UK star Jordan explains why Luke is banned from upcoming reunion

Married At First Sight UK star Jordan explains why Luke is banned from upcoming reunion

The pair were previously embroiled in a physical altercation.

Married At First Sight UK star Jordan Gayle has claimed that Luke Worley doesn’t play a part in an upcoming reunion special.

The eighth season of MAFS UK has had it all - there’s been medical interference, many a brutal dumping, and some insane bombshells being dropped.

Earlier this autumn, viewers of the Channel 4 reality show were also shocked to witness a physical altercation taking place between Jordan, 26, and Luke, 30.

On the tragic episode, things first got heated between the grooms at dinner.

Later, a fight broke out inside of Jordan’s apartment which forced showrunners to step in and eject Luke from the experiment.

His former wife, Jay Howard, was also made to exit the show, and the pair reportedly broke up shortly after their axing.

In a new interview, personal trainer Jordan has opened up about his experience with the 30-year-old and why the latter wasn’t invited to the reunion episode.

The 26-year-old told The Mirror: “He said that himself that he was banned from the reunion because of the way he was acting with me, you know, accusing me of cheating, revealing spoilers, saying, 'I've done this, I've done that' which wasn't correct.

Luke and Jordan previously came to blows on the reality show.

“And it was before the reunion that we've seen on TV happen.”

He continued to say that, while Luke wasn’t present at the event, he still managed to ‘frustrate’ the star.

“Somehow he managed to worm his way in and in effect the reunion.

“That's what happened frustratingly, it still shouldn't have happened.

“But I believe that you'll see it on the reunion in a few months' time, I don't wanna give too much away.

“But I basically didn't have a great time at that reunion.”

Following the altercation, both Luke and Jay were axed from the series.

Keeping true to his word, the Sheffield star remained tight-lipped on the situation before doubling down on his comment.

“And I do think that Luke had something to do with it. He managed to affect it in some way.

“It's really frustrating to be fair.”

Elsewhere in the interview, the online fitness coach claimed that Channel 4 bosses were ‘unhappy’ with the Essex native.

However, Luke himself has rubbished these claims and told his co-star to stick to his own ‘business’

He told the publication: “Once again Jordan is speaking about other people’s business with no facts to back it up.

“I have spoken with the show Execs about what the future looks like and we have a deep mutual respect for each other.”

He added that he looks ‘forward’ to working with the show executives in the ‘future’ before thanking both Channel 4 and CPL Productions for the opportunity.

Luke added: “The future is looking positive and I will be forever grateful.”

As per The Mirror, a reunion special is due to air in a couple of months. However, a confirmed date is yet to be announced.
