Married At First Sight UK star Thomas ‘rushed out by medics’ during heartbreaking dumping

Married At First Sight UK star Thomas ‘rushed out by medics’ during heartbreaking dumping

Thomas Kriaras claims he needed medical attention after splitting from Rozz Darlington.

Married at First Sight UK’s Thomas Kriaras revealed medics had to intervene after he was dumped by ex-wife Rozz Darlington.

Many of us would have been obsessed with the eighth season of the reality show, due to many a brutal dumping, and endless interesting plot twists.

However, one of this year’s more emotional moments came after florist Rozz opted to leave Thomas during the final commitment ceremony.

The heartbreaking decision was unfortunately made after the 28-year-old admitted she couldn’t see herself starting a family with her former partner.

She also said that she 'didn’t feel anything' while consummating their marriage. Ouch.

At the time, the Channel 4 show captured the pair crying as they split but in a new interview, the 27-year-old has revealed that the moment went from bad to worse.

Thomas got candid about how he handled Rozz's rejection.

Speaking about the break-up an interview with the Mirror, Thomas said: “I got to say goodbye to everyone and then I reached Paul [Liba] and JJ [Slater] and hugged Paul and I basically burst into tears into his shirt, ruining it. Bless Paul.

“And then I was just crying with JJ rubbing my back and holding my hand.

“Eventually, I had the medic take me out. I had to have the medic take me out to get me out of there.”

The MAFS UK said those participating in the experiment usually have to wait a day before they can leave.

However, due to grieving ‘so hard’, Thomas was reportedly allowed to exit early.

The MAFS star said he would '100 percent' redo the experiment.

He said: "Basically, I just said that I wanted to go so they got me a taxi, got my stuff and I left from that commitment ceremony, which is usually not what you do. You usually wait until the next day.”

He stated that everywhere he looked was like a ‘haunted memory of a dead relationship’ and felt as if ‘someone had died’ following Rozz’s rejection.

Despite having his heart broken on the small screen, Thomas has claimed he will always be ‘grateful’ for having the 28-year-old in his life.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, the Finance and Investment graduate said: "I think there's a massive dichotomy between what I looked like at the beginning of the process or before the process, and what I look like now.

"And it is 100%, I'll give credit where it's due, because of Rozz.”

He also added that his ex let him ‘be free’ and that she worked to ‘nudge him in the right direction’.

He continued: “And you can see the change as the process went on, I even start looking more tan, and it's like the tanner I got the happier I was too.”

Despite requiring medical attention and his marriage being broken off, Thomas said that he would go back into the reality show and do it all again.

He added that MAFS had given him ‘so much’ and that without appearing on the show, he would still be an ‘unhappy, stifled, pale boy’.
