Gypsy Rose Blanchard files for temporary restraining order against husband Ryan Anderson after filing for divorce

Gypsy Rose Blanchard files for temporary restraining order against husband Ryan Anderson after filing for divorce

Their marriage has fallen apart following Gypsy Rose's release from prison

Gypsy Rose Blanchard, who was released from prison only three months ago after serving 7 years for the second-degree murder of her mother, has filed for a temporary restraining order against husband Ryan Anderson, who she is currently divorcing.

*Takes a deep breath*.

32-year-old Gypsy married husband Ryan in 2022, while she was still behind bars.

The pair met after 37-year-old Ryan began writing letters to her.

Gypsy pleaded guilty to the murder of Clauddine ‘Dee Dee’ Blanchard, with help from her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn.

The brutal stabbing came after Gypsy found out she had Munchausens by Proxy - as her mother had made her live her life believing she had a series of serious - even potentially fatal - illnesses.

Dee Dee shaved Gypsy's head and confined her to a wheelchair. Both of which were needless but made Gypsy believe she was seriously ill.

Gypsy and Ryan did a series of interviews after Gypsy's release, talking about how happy they were and their plans to start a family in the future.

They even shocked fans when Gypsy posted an x-rated message to Ryan when telling him not to listen to the 'haters'.

Needless to say, people were surprised when Gypsy announced their separation just two weeks ago (29 March).

Gypsy shared on social media at the time: "Unfortunately my husband and I are going through a separation and I moved in with my parents home down the bayou.

"I have the support of my family and friends to help guide me through this. I am learning to listen to my heart. Right now I need time to let myself find… who I am."

Gypsy has since been spotted with her ex, Ken Urker, following the shock split.

Ken also approached Gypsy by writing her letters and the two were engaged in 2018, but called it off while she was still behind bars.

The two have since debuted matching tattoos.

This led to Ryan speaking out in a video to let people know how he's doing, after telling the DailyMail he feels 'blindsided by the whole thing'.

He said: "I’m just living my life guys. Y’all will see what really happened on Lifetime, we were filming a lot.

"So stay tuned for that. If you support me, follow me, I will post more stuff eventually. God bless."

In case that wasn't enough post-marital drama, Gypsy has now filed for a temporary restraining order.

Court documents obtained by People show that as well as the restraining order preventing contact, Gypsy is seeking Ryan to 'pay interim and long term spousal support', because Blanchard is 'in need and defendant has ability to pay and she is not at fault for the dissolution of marriage.'

Gypsy has also asked the court to deny spousal support to Ryan, per the documents.
