Tom Hardy's New CBeebies 'Bedtime Stories' Is Here

In probably the best start to a Monday ever, a teaser for Tom Hardy's CBeebies Bedtime Stories is finally here.

The 42-year-old actor announced he'd be returning to perform the childhood story readings last week, after delighting kids and parents alike when he first appeared on the show in 2016.

Now, the BBC have released a clip from 'Tom Week', beginning today, where he'll be performing six stories throughout the week.

The clip sees Tom sitting in his garden in Richmond, south-west London, where filming took place for the new collection of stories (in line with social distancing measures, of course).

"Now sometimes, on a day like this, I feel strong and happy," the Peaky Blinders actor starts, before continuing: "But on other days I just want someone to give me a hug."

Next, Tom jumps into a reading of Hug Me by Simone Ciraolo, "about a little cactus called Felipe who just wants a hug". You can catch the full thing on CBeebies at 6.50pm tonight.

Tom's return to the show follows a massive one million requests by parents (on behalf of their kids, of course) after he first appeared in 2016.

Other stories will include Under the Same Sky by Robert Vescio and Nicky Johnston, which is about two children living on opposite sides of the world who crave friendship; There's a Tiger in the Garden by Lizzy Stewart; Don't Worry, Little Crab by Chris Haughton and The Problem with Problems by Rachel Rooney and Zehra Hicks.

For some of the readings, Tom will be accompanied by his French Bulldog, Blue. Does it get much better?
