Fyre Festival Legend Andy King Is Getting His Own TV Show

While the Netflix documentary FYRE: The Greatest Party That Never Happened left us all absolutely baffled that something so ridiculous could actually take place, there was one man who absolutely stole the show.

Event planner Andy King became an online sensation when he revealed he'd been prepared to "take one for the team" and perform oral sex in exchange for getting water onto the island to "save the festival."

For anyone who hasn't seen the film, it documents the downfall of an incredibly exclusive luxury festival on an island in the Bahamas that went horrendously wrong.

Since discovering his new-found fame, Andy has said he doesn't just want to be known as "The Blow Job King of the World," but it turns out many more opportunities have fallen on his lap.

"I had three TV show offers this week, from notable networks," he told Vanity Fair.

"You're too young to remember this, but in the old world of TV it was The Carol Burnett Show and these fun, light-hearted shows that weren't all crime-related," the 58-year-old told his interviewer.

"You see the attractiveness of HGTV [Home and Garden Television] today. People love Flip or Flop or Fixer Upper. Let's just say it's going to be a show about hosting crazy events - what it takes to make them happen.

"There will be cliff-hangers, and you'll get to follow me around and see how I pull them off."

Let's hope his contestants have more hope than Fyre headman Billy McFarland, who's now spending six years in prison for fraud.

Andy added: "I think I'm being given a platform that a lot of people, at age 58 especially, don't get the opportunity to have, and I'm kind of excited about it."

FYRE: The Greatest Party That Never Happened is available to stream on Netflix now.
