Andy King became somewhat of an online sensation after he revealed he was willing to suck a d*ck to get clean water onto the island in Netflix's infamous Fyre festival documentary - but Andy was desperate for it not to make the cut.

The events planner has revealed how he begged producers to remove the scene from the documentary, on the advice of his lawyer and creative team.

"They said 'Andy you've got to pull that thing. That cannot go in this documentary,'" Andy told TMZ. "And when I sat with the director, he said 'Andy, you don't understand. Without that scene, there isn't a documentary.

"I said 'oh, come on. There's no way.' And they said 'trust me'. And that is an integral part, as you know, of the documentary itself."

In the film, titled FYRE: The Greatest Party That Never Happened, Andy shared the anecdote in which festival headman Billy McFarland asked him to "take one for the team."

What transpired is that Billy wanted Andy to give oral pleasure to a member of the Bahamian customs authorities in order to release the water for the already-doomed festival.

Andy then recalls going home, taking a shower, and drinking some mouth wash, before driving back to the festival, prepared to take one for the team

Since the documentary first launched, Andy has become an internet sensation, with memes popping up left, right and centre and he's even responded to his new found fame.

"I just don't want to necessarily be known as The Blowjob King of the world," he says in an interview with Netflix.

Andy went on to admit he didn't originally know what it meant to be 'trending' as he's never been on social media, but when someone explained he asked: "What's a ME ME?"

Thankfully, when it came down to it, the customs officer told Andy that the water would be released as long as they would be one of the first people paid the import fee by Fyre Media.

It's a good job the scene did make the cut, as Andy has now found himself at the forefront of a new reality programme about hosting crazy events.

"You see the attractiveness of HGTV [Home and Garden Television] today. People love Flip or Flop or Fixer Upper. Let's just say it's going to be a show about hosting crazy events - what it takes to make them happen," he told Vanity Fair.

"There will be cliff-hangers, and you'll get to follow me around and see how I pull them off."

Incredible stuff.
