American Horror Story: Double Feature Drops On Disney+

American Horror Story: Double Feature Drops On Disney+

The blockbuster 10th season has landed on Disney+.

The tenth season of American Horror Story is now available to stream in the UK on Disney+ just in time for Halloween.

Double Feature is divided into two parts; the first, Red Tide, takes place by the sea while the second, Death Valley takes place by the sand.

Watch the trailer below:

Red Tide follows a screenwriter who moves with his pregnant wife and young daughter to Provincetown, Massachusetts hoping to cure his writer’s block.

But in a rather strange turn of events - which should be expected from American Horror Stories - their new house by the sea may be haunted, and the family soon encounters pale, bald monsters

Death Valley begins in 1954 where a New Mexico housewife blissfully prepares dinner for her husband and son is interrupted by aliens.

Meanwhile, President Dwight D. Eisenhower, has to cut his luxurious holiday Palm Springs holiday short when he receives news of an alien invasion. He eventually meets a woman at a UFO crash site claiming to be Amelia Earheart, a real-life American aviator who went missing mid-flight.

In the present day, four college students venture into the desert where they encounter a mysterious light and end up pregnant.

Returning cast members from previous seasons include Frances Conroy, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross, Finn Wittrock, Denis O'Hare, Robin Weigert, Cody Fern and Dot Marie Jones.

Like most television productions, American Horror Story: Double Feature was impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.

On May 26, 2020, it was announced that the season would be pushed back to 2021 due to production being halted as a result of the ongoing crisis.

Series star Lily Rabe confirmed to Digital Spy that filming for the season would start in December 2020. Production lasted well into 2021.
