Steve Jobs’ daughter Eve just mocked the new iPhone 14

Eve posted a meme about it on Instagram

Steve Jobs' daughter, Eve Jobs, has seemingly mocked the new iPhone 14 after posting a meme about the model on Instagram.

On Wednesday (7 September) Apple unveiled the new iPhone 14, but it seems some people can't see a vast difference between the new model and its predecessor, the iPhone 13.

The new phone was unveiled on Wednesday 7 September.

One person who reacted to the new phone on social media was Eve Jobs, the daughter of the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs and wife Laurene Powell.

Eve, 24, shared a meme on her Insta Stories, which showed a man holding up the same striped shirt as the one he's already wearing, captioned: “Me upgrading from iPhone 13 to iPhone 14 after Apple's announcement today.”

Other iPhone fans have been discussing the new model on Twitter, with many claiming the phone is very similar to the 13.

One person wrote: “How are the iPhone 14 and iPhone 13 not the exact same phone?”

And another said: "You have no reason to own an iPhone 14, as there is no difference between iPhone 13 and iPhone 14."

But despite some of the claims, the new iPhone does have new features which sets it aside from the iPhone 13. It has an 'always on' display - handy for seeing the time and other notifications - as well as a longer battery life.

The regular iPhone 14 has a 6.1 inch screen, with a 6.7 inch size for the Plus, making it as large as Apple's largest phone - the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

It also has a five core GPU and a six core CPU, with Apple claiming it's more powerful than anything its competitors can match.

And it has a new, 12 megapixel main camera, with a boosted performance for low-light photos, in comparison to the iPhone 13.

There's also an exciting new selection of features to protect the phone from being broken or stolen, including a ceramic shield to protect the screen from being smashed and an eSIM which can't be removed.

Each device also has an Emergency SOS feature which can use satellites if you ever need it.

The regular model will cost you $799 (£849 in the UK), while the Plus model will be priced at $899 (£949 in the UK).

If you do fancy getting your hands on the upgrade, the iPhone 14 is set to hit shelves on 16 September, while the 14 Plus is due to be launched later on 7 October.
