Costa Coffee Unveils New Summer Menu Featuring A KitKat Muffin

Costa has just launched a new menu in time for the summer months, featuring tonnes of new tasty goodies for you to enjoy.

Yep, the high street coffee chain has done it again, bringing out a whole array of tasty treats, including a KitKat muffin and a mouthwatering lemon swirl cheesecake.

Drool.

In total, there are 10 new menu additions, all available in cafes nationwide from today (May 6th).

We reckon there will be a lot of takers for the KitKat muffin, costing £2.25 - essentially a delectable chocolate muffin with a gooey centre which is meant to taste like KitKat and its wafery goodness, topped with chocolate frosting and an all-important miniature KitKat bite.

This sweet treat follows on from previous Rolo and Biscoff muffins the chain has sold. And, FYI, these collabs always fly out of their cafe's, so we'd get down there quickly if you want to try them.

On top of the KitKat muffin, there are several other sweet options for those looking for a bit of sugar.

Sweet-toothed customers can also indulge in a slice lemon swirl cheesecake or lemon and blueberry cake. Plus, continuing the citrus theme, there's a lime and coconut loaf cake on offer, too.

A strawberries and cream muffin will also be in stores, alongside a delicious jammy flapjack and adorable cat and dog shaped gingerbread.

With two new salads and a tasty looking bag of mini flatbread crisps on offer, the savoury newbies are as follows:

• Chicken and bacon caesar salad - from £4
• Greek feta and quinoa salad - from £4
• Mini flatbreads - from £1

Discussing the new menu, a Costa Coffee Spokesperson said: "With Summer well and truly on its way, we want to make sure our customers have a great selection of products to choose from while out and about.

"From fresh salads to a delectable sweet range - not to mention our amazing new Chocolate Muffin made with KitKat!"
