Influencer Alix Earle is facing backlash from parents over her ‘mum at school pickup’ outfit, having become an unlikely TikTok trend.
Earle, 22, recently posted a TikTok video showing fans as she got ready for the day, having been headed to an American football game to watch Miami Dolphins – the team her husband, Braxton Berrios, plays wide receiver for.
“Let’s get dressed for a Dolphins game!” she said.

She started the video wearing a white robe and Miami Dolphins hat, which Earle said she was ‘revolving the outfit around’.
“I got it on Amazon,” she added.
Earle then donned an orange bodysuit and denim shorts, completing the look with ‘cute’ but ‘comfy’ white studded kitten heels and a white Jimmy Choo bag.

“I feel like a mom picking up her kids from school,” she laughed.
“I don’t know why a mom would be dressed like this to pick her kids up from school, but that’s what I’m going to be dressed like."
The video soon went viral as actual mums came forward to discuss their own school drop-off looks, with some even stitching her post to show off the visuals.

Someone else commented: “No moms wear this to pickup and drop off. We all [are] in sweats.”
A third wrote: “The moms picking up their kids from school are wearing the first outfit. The robe.”
Nicki Maher, a mum-of-two from Massachusetts, was one of many women who stitched Earle’s video.

The 46-year-old filmed herself standing on her front porch wearing in sweatpants and slippers, with her hair scraped up in a messy bun.
Speaking to Today, she said: “I was exactly like Alix — I had this image of what motherhood was going to look like. But it’s a total hot mess situation.”
She added: “You’ll see me doing pickup in a hoodie with no bra … pajama bottoms and my bun."
Mum Cassidy Montalvo is another TikToker who gave the unlikely new trend a go, stitching with Earle's video and saying: “So you’re missing a few things ... The hat you got right.
