The 'Hocus Pocus' Cast Are Reuniting For Halloween

Name a more iconic trio.

Nothing gets us in the mood for Halloween like settling down to watch Hocus Pocus, so we're thrilled to hear that the stars of the witchy classic are set to reunite for Halloween.

Yep, Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimi (seriously, what a coven!) will be back together this October.

While we'd love to report that the much talked-about sequel is the reason for the reunion, what's actually on the trio's agenda is a virtual 'Hulaween' fundraiser, in aid of the New York Restoration Project.

Happening Friday 30th October, the digital event has been dubbed the 'hottest pandemic-safe Halloween event of the year' - so, dust off your broomsticks, people!

Tickets to 'In Search of the Sanderson Sisters: A Hocus Pocus Halloween Takeover' cost $10 (£7.70) and can be snapped up here.

Guests are invited to "come in for a spell" and join the Sanderson trio as well as "spectactularly spooky guests".

Finer details of the virtual event have been kept under wraps - but it promises to be a devilishly good time.

Given that this is the first time the three actresses have appeared on the same billing together in years, tickets are expected to sell out fast.

The New York Restoration Project was originally set up by Bette Midler to transform open space for communities across the city's five boroughs.

Disney favourite Hocus Pocus was released in 1993, and while it wasn't the box office smash you'd expect, it's acquired a loyal fan base over the years on account of its kooky charm and ace performances.

The plot (as if you needed reminding!) sees three witches - Winifred, Sarah and Mary Sanderson - summoned back to the mortal world of modern day Salem on the night of Halloween, 300 years after being hanged.
