Victoria Beckham 'in talks for her own documentary' off back of David's Netflix success

Victoria Beckham 'in talks for her own documentary' off back of David's Netflix success

Victoria Beckham is 'in talks for her own documentary' following the success of David Beckham's docu-series.

Victoria Beckham might be getting her own documentary about a certain ‘empire’ she built from ‘scratch’, following the success of her husband's series, Beckham.

Victoria is said to be in talks about creating a docu-series, similar to David Beckham’s but about a different avenue of her life that she created following the split of the Spice Girls in 2000.

The football star’s series has been a hit with viewers on Netflix, and the pair have branded celeb royalty after fans were reminded of just how much of a big deal they were.

The couple have four children together and the docu-series followed the highs - and definitely the lows too - of their 24 year marriage.

Despite featuring in the Beckham documentary quite frequently and telling her side of the story, a programme following her own life and struggles is seemingly on the cards, although in its ‘early’ stages.

It was the first time her personality was really displayed in the Netflix series, and her dry humour - coupled with her brutal honesty - has been a hit with fans.

Victoria Beckham could soon be having her own documentary.

The discussion of her own documentary has been around the fashion and beauty ‘empire’ she has built from the ground up, rather than a particular focus on her time in the famous girl band.

A source told The Sun: “At times her journey wasn’t easy, and there will be a blood, sweat and tears look behind the scenes at the sheer graft she has put into reinventing herself.

“Off the back of David’s success, and how well she came across, people will also see, in depth, her wit and sarcasm.

“Of course there will be some personal life elements and David, and her celebrity pals, will feature in the background.

Despite the production being in its very early stages, the people involved have stated that they are ‘excited’.

David and Victoria have been married for 24 years.

In David’s series, the pair addressed the alleged affair rumours surrounding Rebecca Loos, which they neither confirmed nor denied.

Rebecca has since done an interview with the Daily Mail, having her say about what was said in the Netflix smash-hit.

She said that she has spoken about the documentary, not because it involved her, but because she claims that David makes it look like her ‘fault’.

She said: “If you don't want to take responsibility for things because of your family and your children that's absolutely fine.

“But he specifically made it look like… my fault, that he had nothing to do with this.”
