Strictly fans convinced they know 'real reason' why Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell were ‘upset’

Fans are speculating on their own theories

We're spoilt for choice when it comes to telly this past month or so with Strictly Come Dancing being a regular go-to to hunker down to every Saturday.

Fan-favourites EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier 20, and professional dancer Dianne Buswell, 34, recently revealed they were recovering after an 'emotional week' on the popular BBC programme.

Since then, Strictly fans are now convinced they know the 'real reason' why the pair were so 'upset'.

Over the weekend, Bobby and Dianne wowed the judges and viewers alike with their Tango to 'Fashion' by David Bowie, scoring an impressive 30 out of 40 and whizzing through to next week’s show.

The dancing duo, who were wearing matching red outfits for their performance, are on a winning streak, but their emotions almost got the better of them that evening with both tearing up following the performance.

During the post-performance interview with Claudia Winkleman, Bobby said: "Just emotional. It's been so so emotional all week."

Dianne added: "He has just been a massive rock this week, so thank you."

Many fans were quick to notice something was up, with many rushing to social media to share their speculations.

"It’s probably just exhaustion hitting, it’s been non-stop for them all," wondered one fan.

"Quite a few weepy this week… must take it out of you," sympathised a second.

"I think this is about the time the exhaustion sets in," added a third.

Others, however, weren't too bothered with speculating over a reason for why the pair were so 'emotional' and seemed more focused on sending words of support.

One Instagram user penned: "I hope Bobby is okay. He just seemed very upset tonight."

"Bobby seemed upset tonight, especially when the judges were talking to him after the dance and going up the stairs, and when he was talking to Claudia he looked like he was gonna cry, I really hope he's okay," echoed a second.

A third chimed in: "Hope you’re both OK. Something seemed off in your demeanour this week; you both appeared sad."

Dianne Buswell seemed to respond to the speculation in her Instagram story.

Bobby, who is the son of the late Big Brother star Jade Goody and TV personality Jeff Brazier, wrapped up the week by sharing a post on Instagram dedicated to his 'dear coach' and 'friend' Dianne.

He captioned the post: "My dear coach to learn from, friend to feel it all beside and big sister to drive loopy.

"Thankyou [sic] for your votes."

Dianne later commented on the post, writing: "Me bestie so proud of you love from COACH."

Dianne put to bed rumours that she had split from her boyfriend Joe Sugg following her sad demeanour on Saturday's show, while also indicating in her Instagram Story that people didn't know the full picture about what was going on in her life.

Strictly Come Dancing continues this Saturday (21 October) at 6.35pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
