In many films, there's that moment when the two leads finally kiss.
As a self-professed cinephile, I'll be the first to say that some look more natural than others.
From time to time, I have watched a kiss between co-stars that looks so awkward I start to wonder how many takes it took to get the shot, and hope for them both that it was over quickly.

41-year-old actress Emily Blunt has opened up recently about the truth of on-screen snogging, and what it's really like when two cast members don't quite gel.
The star of Oppenheimer and the recently released The Fall Guy didn't hold back when dishing the dirt about on-set chemistry.
On April 30, Emily was a guest on The Howard Stern Show, and the pair got straight to the point.

Emily opened up: "I've had chemistry with people I haven't liked."
Host Howard Stern retorted: "Who?"
Emily then said: "I'm not gonna tell you."
It makes sense that she wouldn't want to call anybody out, but she did let us in on some more context.

She added: "I have had chemistry with people who... I have not had a good time working with them," she said, still refusing to reveal any names.
"Sometimes it's a strange thing. Sometimes you could have a rapport that's really effortless, but it doesn't translate onscreen.
"Chemistry is this strange thing. It's an ethereal thing that you can't really bottle up and buy or sell. It's like there or it's not.
"It's just easier when you have a natural rapport with someone."
Ever the professional, Emily shared that she does actively try and seek out chemistry where possible.

She explained: "I've got to find something I love about everybody. I have to find something - even if it's one thing.
"It might be that they have a nice laugh or I like how they speak to people. They’re polite. I mean, it might be something random.
"But find something you love about that person or something you love about them as the character and then kind of lean into that."
Howard then asked her the question on all film-lovers' lips.

"Have you wanted to throw up?", he asked, in regards to kissing another actor.
Emily quickly responded: "Absolutely. Absolutely.
"I wouldn't say it's sort of extreme loathing, but I've definitely not enjoyed some of it."
As she stars opposite Barbie's Ryan Gosling in her latest film The Fall Guy, Emily was quick to clear up any speculation that it might be about him.
She said: "I love his wife, Eva. I love their children, and I feel like I’m very lucky to be friends with a gem of a person like him."
Emily's sentiment about gross kisses echoes a recent interview from fellow actress Anne Hathaway.
The 41-year-old movie star, who has worked in the industry for over two decades, opened up about the 'gross' chemistry tests she was subjected to in the 2000s.
She told V Magazine: "It was considered normal to ask an actor to make out with other actors to test for chemistry, which is actually the worst way to do it.
"I was told, ‘We have 10 guys coming today and you’re cast. Aren’t you excited to make out with all of them?’ And I thought, ‘Is there something wrong with me?’ because I wasn’t excited. I thought it sounded gross."
