Sometimes there’s truly nothing better than switching off after a hard day by getting totally engrossed in a new story - so we’re always on the lookout for what to watch next.
BBC never seems to let us down when it comes to offering up a binge-worthy series.
In recent months we’ve had the likes of Traces, This Town and The Sixth Commandment to rave about - all unsettling, gripping shows that had us on the edge of our seats.
We all know the feeling of finishing a series that has amazed us, only to be left wondering when (if ever) the second series will drop.

Well, for those of us who watched and loved Wreck, which premiered on BBC in 2022, the wait is over as the addictive series has returned for part two.
Comedy and slasher-horror Wreck stars Oscar Kennedy as Jamie, a nineteen-year old guy that begins working on board a cruise ship in order to investigate the disappearance of his sister.
It perfectly balances humour and dread in a claustrophobic cruise environment, and landed an incredible 96% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.
As for the second season, the first episode aired on 26 March and Attitude have hailed it as ‘confident’, ‘smart’ and ‘bold’.

Their review said: “After wisely spending series one focused on characters, there is a greater emphasis on the horror-slasher-thriller aspects of the show.
"And there are some truly gripping moments and sequences throughout.”
As is often the case with new series, it was loved by those who watched it and has achieved cult-like status, but hopefully the second series will grab even more viewers’ attention - it certainly deserves it.
But don’t just take our word for it.
With all episodes available to enjoy on BBC iPlayer, viewers have taken to social media to gush over the incredible show.

One person wrote on X: “After savouring it over a few days, I’ve finally finished #WreckBBC S2.
"And, honestly, I’m blown away. I laughed. I cried tears of joy. I cried tears of sadness. I was put on edge and constantly dragged to the edge of my seat. And one moment (you know which) made my jaw drop.”
People are also calling for a third season already. One viewer said: “I just finished s2 of #WreckBBC and it was so crazy!! I think I loved this season even more than s1 (didnt know it was possible).
"I don’t think I’ve ever been so stressed while watching a TV show in my life. I can’t wait to see where s3 takes these characters.”

A third person chimed: “I love this show and the way it makes me go from screaming to laughing to crying and then back to screaming all within a couple of minutes.”
Definitely one to add to your to-watch list. You might even find yourself hankering for yet another season!
