Love Island’s Jake Cornish breaks silence after abrupt exit from All Stars three days in

He took to Instagram to share an update with fans

There's only been four episodes of the brand-new Love Island: All Stars season and we've already had shedloads of bombshell revelations, relationship chaos and a whole lot of villa-side drama.

One of the juicier scoops saw the likes of Jake Cornish quit the series after just three days in after finding out the public had coupled him up with his ex, Liberty Poole.

Jake has since broken his silence with an Instagram update to fans following his abrupt departure.

Before his exit, he told the other Islanders round the fire: "I was here to find love and there is no one here that I have that connection with.

"I just want to let you all know I am going tonight."

We support you and we love you!" Georgia Harrison kindly said, which Jake replied: "I love you all. That means you've all got to have fun and find love, just because I haven't, doesn't mean you lot can't."

Following his departure, he explained in a statement: "After a few amazing days in the villa, I've made the decision to leave Love Island: All Stars as I've realised that now isn't the right time for me to find love as I would never want to force a connection.

"I have no regrets whatsoever as I'm so glad I got to enjoy my time in the villa reuniting with some familiar faces as well as finally getting an opportunity to clear the air with Liberty.

"I wish her and all of the other islanders the very best and will be cheering them all on from home."

Jake has since taken to Instagram to share an update to his 434k followers.

He posted a selfie to his story smiling doing a peace sign at the airport with the overlaying text reading: "Love to you all. Home time."

The reality TV star also included a sweet snap of his dog adding: "Get to see my boy."

According to the Daily Mail, Jake will be receiving £2,000 for his Love Island: All Stars stint, being that he chose to leave the villa early.

The publisher claimed that, as opposed to pocketing the customary sign-up fee for appearing on the show, this year's stars were instead promised £2,000 per week they remain in the villa.

And having quit the hit series after just 72 hours, it's unlikely that the star will receive more than his initial £2k.

Tyla has previously contacted the Love Island press office for comment.

Love Island All Stars continues on ITVX and ITV2 at 9pm.
