How much Love Island’s Jake Cornish will earn from All Stars series after he quits 3 days in

The 2021 dating show alum was reported to have quit the show

We're only one episode in and already the first ever series of Love Island: All Stars is providing us with all the dramatic plot-twists we need to see January through.

During the ITV2 dating series' debut last night (15 January), viewers saw 12 former contestants - plucked from the show's nine year history - re-enter the infamous love shack with a second chance at finding romance.

Within minutes of the show kicking off, however, host Maya Jama sent viewers into a frenzy after announcing a major plot twist.

Despite having told the six returning love-hungry ladies to each stand beside the bloke they fancy the most, the presenter revealed it was actually the public that would vote for who couples up with who.

And to make matters even MORE interesting, the end of the high-intensity episode saw the 2024 series' first ever bombshells walk in, in the form of recently broken-up couple Callum Jones and Molly Smith, who met on the 2020 winter series before calling it quits last year.

BUT, the drama doesn't stop there, as one contestant has reportedly pulled out of the star-studded dating show, just three days after entering the South African villa.

2020 exes Molly Smith and Callum Jones were the first bombshells to join the villa.

That's right - Jake Cornish, who appeared on the 2021 series, 'falling in love with' and later bitterly splitting from ex girlfriend Liberty Poole on the show, has already packed his bags and left.

The 26-year-old reportedly decided to go home last night (15 January), after finding out the public had coupled him up with ex Liberty, who has also returned.

A source told The Sun: "Jake was really shocked to see Liberty in the villa - they had no idea the other person would be there.

"It was clear from the start they wouldn't get back together, then none of the girls wanted to step forward for him.

"Jake had a nice three days in the villa and had a very emotional chat to Maya Jama.

"Jake couldn't stay in the villa so he quit the show - it's not his time and it's not the right time to find love."

Among the hundreds of questions that viewers likely have for Love Island producers since his shock exit, is a financial concern.

Many fans of the show initially suspected the alum to have re-entered the villa in the hope of a cash pay out.

"Jake and Liberty have literally just been threw in that villa together for the shock factor - genuinely the most money thirsty tv show," one penned on X.

Another teased: "Literally why did Jake come back for this (money blah blah blah I know) but it’s just so clear he doesn’t wanna be there."

The public decided which contestants will couple up.

But according to the Daily Mail, Jake will only be receiving a mediocre £2,000 for his Love Island: All Stars stint, being that he chose to leave the villa early.

The publisher claimed that, as opposed to pocketing the customary sign-up fee for appearing on the show, this year's stars were instead promised £2,000 per week they remain in the villa.

And having quit the hit series after just 72 hours, it's unlikely that the star will receive more than his initial £2k.

Tyla has contacted the Love Island press office for comment.

This year's star-studded line up also includes Hannah Elizabeth, who starred in the first ever series back in 2015 alongside Luis Morrison, who has also joined the cast.

2017 feather-ruffler Georgia Harrison will also be making an appearance, alongside 2018's most 'loyal' star Georgia Steele and 2019 bodybuilder Anton Danyluk.

Also from coming straight from fifth series is Anton's co-star and Barbie actor, Chris Taylor, and representing the first ever winter series of 2020 is Demi Jones.

Jake and Liberty were also joined by a couple of their 2021 series co-stars, Kaz Kamwi and Toby Aromolaran.
