Mrs Hinch reveals she and son Ronnie have been diagnosed with autism

The 'clean-fluencer' claims her life 'finally makes sense' following her diagnosis

Mrs Hinch has revealed that both she and her four-year-old son Ronnie have been diagnosed with autism.

The social media star - best known for her savvy cleaning tips and best-selling self-help books - has today opened up about their diagnosis.

The 'Queen of Clean', 33 - whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe - took to Instagram to announce that she had been diagnosed with autism.

Despite saying that she'd received the news from medical professionals a 'while' ago, she said that the family wished to take some time to 'process' the news in order to 'to learn, to grow and to find our way together'.

Writing in a post on 20 December, the mother-of-two - who also shares two-year-old son Lennie with her husband Jamie Hinchcliffe - said everything 'finally makes sense' in her life following her and Ronnie's diagnoses.

Sharing an adorable snap alongside her little boy, she captioned it: "Autism. A question I am asked daily. Mrs Hinch, is Ronnie autistic?

"Yes, our wonderful Ronnie is autistic. In fact, I am too."

She went on to explain: "Both Ron and I have had confirmation for a while now. We decided as a family to take our time to process, to learn, to grow and to find our way together before we shared.

"So that's exactly what we did and are continuing to do each day. We have hard days but we also have lots of magical days.

"And if only everyone accepted and understood autism, the world really would be a much better place.

"Ronnie, thank you for being ours, for being so precious and simply incredible. Because of you everything finally made sense to me after 33 years."

Many praised Mrs Hinch for opening up about her diagnosis.

Mrs Hinch then concluded her heartfelt statement by writing: "You are my absolute inspiration in life. I love you Ron… Mummy is right here with you, in this together, forever xxx."

Hundreds of her followers quickly rushed to the emotional post's comment section to dub her an 'inspiration'.

Her husband Jamie gushed: "So unbelievably proud".

Her close pal and Loose Women panellist Stacey Solomon wrote: "Love you both."

Love Island star Kady McDermott continued: "Sending so much love xxx".

TOWIE star Georgia Kousoulou also penned, "Aww we love you", whilst former X Factor star Jake Quickenden posted love hearts below the post.

While another person called the mother and son 'incredible', adding: "We've recently had the diagnosis too, you're definitely not alone, there is such a wonderful community of supportive parents out there to help you."
