Beyoncé's mum addresses rumours that her daughter brings her own toilet seat on tour

Beyoncé is not a 'Diva' about her toilet seats, her mum has confirmed.

Tina Knowles shut down the latest ridiculous rumour about her daughter amid heaps of speculation about the ongoing Renaissance World Tour and Queen Bey’s bathroom habits when she’s on the road.

As the tour cities across North America in August, reports among fans started to spread suggesting that the ‘Break My Soul’ singer transports toilet seats around the world.

It all started when an exclusive report in The Sun claimed that the multi-hyphenate never sits on a toilet seat that has been used by anybody else - and therefore has to courier her own.

Some of Queen Bey's fans assumed the rumour was true, as one X user said: “Beyoncé allegedly goes on tour with her own toilet seats and I fully understand it and if I was that rich I might do the same.”

However, one person who would know for sure if Beyoncé travels around with her very own toilet seats is her mum, Tina.

The businesswoman, fashion designer, and philanthropist told TMZ that the black box labeled ‘Beyoncé toilet seats’ doesn’t actually contain toilet seats inside, it’s simply a case of mistaken identity (the box, not Bey, of course).

The box is used to position fans on stage but it’s not clear why they’re called toilet seats. Regardless of the unfortunate name for the seats, Tina said the rumours about her daughter are ‘so ridiculous’.

And just like we said, Tina would definitely know if Beyoncé was transporting toilet seats around the world since she’s been to a fair few Renaissance shows this year, not only to watch her daughter, but also her granddaughter Blue Ivy, 11.

The next stop on the Renaissance World Tour is the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, on Wednesday (16 August).

Earlier this summer, Beyoncé touched down in London for five consecutive shows at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in May and June. She donated £8,000 to Nigerian restaurant Chuku's after the owners struggled to pay rising energy bills.

The Dreamgirls star will play three sold-out shows at Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium at the beginning of September. The critically acclaimed tour, which kicked off in Sweden in May, will come to an end on 1 October in Kansas City.
