Peaky Blinders fans were recently dealt a blow as they learnt that the sixth season would be its last.
However, it's clear the show's writer, Steven Knight, still has big plans for the series.
After the Cillian Murphy fronted show announced the news, he all but confirmed that a movie was definitely happening - and now he's teased TV spin-offs could be on the cards, too.

Appearing on BBC News on Thursday, Knight started by explaining his new plan for a film, saying: "The original intention was to do seven series, but COVID has stolen a year from us.
"And we felt what would be a great idea is to - almost in place of that seventh series - is to go onto the big screen."
Excitingly, he refused to rule out the film being part of a series, but he also teased the possibility of more from Peaky on telly.

"It's so bizarre with Peaky, because you never know. You never know what's going to develop from it," Knight said.
"We're talking about... I don't like the word spin-offs, but TV series that are going to be inspired by and include characters from Peaky."
It turns out the writer had even been approached to create a Peaky Blinders ballet, adding that he was "really keen" to do it.

While we may have lots of iterations of the Peaky universe to enjoy in the future, season six is filming right now, meaning we'll have a whole series to binge before any of that.
The show returned to production on Monday, just short of a year after it was meant to.
Fans were first alerted to the news after spotting a picture, posted on the official Instagram page for the BBC gangster show, which showed actor Cillian Murphy getting his hair cut into Tommy Shelby's famous short-sided style once more.
Tommy Bulfin, Executive Producer for the BBC, said shortly afterwards: "We are very excited that filming for Peaky Blinders has begun and so grateful to everyone for all their hard work to make it happen.
"Steve's scripts for series six are truly remarkable and provide a fitting send-off which we are sure will delight fans."

It was originally thought that the BBC and Netflix drama would run up until season seven, but due to delays from the Covid-19 pandemic, plans have now changed.
"Covid changed our plans," Knight told Deadline shortly after the announcement. "But I can say that my plan from the beginning was to end Peaky with a movie. That is what is going to happen."
