Nicki Minaj, we love you, but hun you really need to work on your British accent.
A video of the star, 38, performing in Manchester in 2019 as part of her world tour has recently been unearthed on TikTok, showing the Starships rappers flaunting her vocal talents - not just her bars, but her impersonations of us Brits.

As she sashays across the stage, the Trinidadian native joked: "Did you know I was born in Manchester?" in a heavily affected London accent. Nice try, Nicki, but you're about 200 miles out.

"But if I was from Manchester, I don't know exactly where I would be from..."
As numerous voices in the crowd shout Salford, Nicki looks bemused, and continues (still in full British mode): "Well? You don't know?"
Bending down and trying to lipread what fans are shouting, she attempts to say Salford.

"South?" she said, frowning. "Sloth? Sol?"
Oh Nikki. As if we needed any more reason to be obsessed with you.
Nikki has been vocal about her love of the British accent before. While she was in London performing her Nikki Wrld Tour, she told the crowd in a Cockney accent: "In another life, I think I was born in London."
After teaming up with Little Mix for their 2018 single, Woman Like Me, Nikki also said found the typical London accent 'sexy'.

After telling South Shields resident Jade Thirlwall that she "loved Newcastle", Nikki explained on Queen Radio: "Do you guys know how cute you are? Let me tell you, if there's one thing I could change about myself, no kidding, it would be my accent. I wish I could talk like that all the time.
"I wish I could wake up in the morning and talk like that because I just think it's so sexy, do you know what I mean?"
