The story isn't over just yet - the final book in the Fifty Shades of Grey collection will be published 1st June 2021, and it will be telling the story from Christian Grey's point of view.
The highly anticipated spin-off book, Freed: Fifty Shades Freed as Told by Christian is a retelling of the intense relationship with Christian and Anastasia from Mr. Grey's perspective.
Author E. L. James announced the book's release date on Twitter.

"SAVE THE DATE!! Freed will be with you in North America and the UK on June 1, 2021." She tweeted.
She said in a statement that Freed has been a labour of love.
"For me, just as for Anastasia Steele, Christian is a challenging, infuriating, and endlessly fascinating character," James said. "Living in his head is exhausting, but I got to explore aspects of his life in Freed that we only glimpsed in the original trilogy."
Pre-order dates for other countries will follow soon.

In Freed, Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele tie the knot--but marriage brings its own challenges. Though their passion burns hotter and deeper than ever, Ana's defiant spirit continues to stir Christian's darkest fears and tests his need for control.
As old rivalries and resentments endanger them both, one misjudgement threatens to tear them apart.
The book was adapted into a film, Fifty Shades Freed, in 2018 starring Dakota Johnson as Anastasia and The Fall's Jamie Dornan as Christian. Like the books, it was the final film in the Fifty Shades trilogy and grossed $372 million (£267,975,780.00) at the box office.
In other news, Twilight author Stephenie Meyer has revealed she has "at least" two more books in the works following the success of her latest instalment in the saga: Midnight Sun.

The novel switches things up, telling the story from Edward Cullen's perspective, instead of his human-turned-vampire lover, Bella Swan's.
Since the first Twilight book was released in 2005, Stephenie's work shot to fame, with the author going on to release a further three - New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.
Speaking at a promotional event for the most recent addition to her vampire book series, the author said: "There are two more books I think in the world that I want to write.

"I have got them outlined and a chapter written I think of the first one, so I know it's there."
"I am not ready to do that right now," she said. "I want to do something brand new."
Midnight Sun sold more than 1 million copies during its first week in circulation.
