A rich family is looking for a full-time nanny to look after their dog, and the enviable gig comes with an even more enviable salary.
Many of us grow up vowing to pursue our dream jobs, telling ourselves that money doesn’t matter if we’ve got... happiness <3.
But we soon realise that the cost of merely existing racks up pretty swiftly, with reality dawning on us as soon as those bills start to roll in.

However, what if we told you that you could not only land the perfect role, but also get paid very handsomely for it?
One wealthy family are after someone to look after their ‘two beloved dogs’, and are willing to cough up £100,000 – yes, ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND POUNDS – a year for the right person.
A job advert posted on LinkedIn by private housing staffing agency Fairfax and Kensington said: “Our returning client is seeking an exceptional and highly experienced Dog Nanny to provide top-tier care for their two beloved dogs.

“They are truly looking for someone at the top of their field who can ensure the overall well-being, happiness, and safety of their dogs.”
A job ad on the Fairfax and Kensington website also went into more detail about the role, outlining the full list of responsibilities, such as: providing ‘unparalleled care and attention to the dogs’ and treating them as ‘valued members of the family’, including feeding, grooming, and ensuring they receive regular exercise and playtime; coordinating and overseeing all vet appointments, veterinary appointments, vaccinations and health check-ups; developing a ‘personalised exercise regime for each dog’; accompanying the dogs during domestic and international travel; planning and organising ‘socialisation opportunities for the dogs’, including playdates with other pets and visits to dog parks; collaborating with other household staff members to ensure a ‘harmonious and clean environment for the dogs' and implementing the ‘stringent security measures to safeguard the dogs, considering their high-profile environment'.
There are also a number of key requirements for the role, which the family hopes to fill ‘ASAP’, such as demonstrated experience as a professional dog nanny or in a similar role – preferably with ‘ultra-high net worth families or high-profile clients’, a strong understanding of dog health and nutrition, willingness to work ‘irregular hours’ and possession of a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

The ad also said knowledge of specialised training methods was a ‘plus’.
