Harry Potter: You Can Visit Dobby's Grave In The UK

Sobbing.

We were devastated when Dobby died in Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows. But did you know you can actually visit Dobby's grave? And it's in the UK.

As Potterheads will know, Dobby was killed while trying to help Harry, Ron, Hermione, Luna Lovegood, and Griphook the Goblin who were trapped in the Malfoy Manor.

When Dobby comes to the rescue, Bellatrix Lestrange is furious and throws a knife at the house elf. Dobby tragically dies, cradled by Harry, with his parting words: “Such a beautiful place, to be with friends. Dobby is happy to be with his friend, Harry Potter.”

SOB.

But one comfort is that we can visit Dobby's grave, like one TikToker who shared their experience online.

"Screaming, crying," they wrote.

While one person commented: "Why am I crying even at this vid?"

And another said: "Omg I gotta go."

In the film, Harry buries Dobby at the beach near Shell Cottage - and while it's fictionally based in Cornwall - Dobby's real 'grave' is in Pembrokeshire in Wales, where the crew filmed during Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows part 1 and 2.

The shrine to Dobby is located in the dunes on Freshwater West Beach near Castlemartin, where it's been kept alive by avid Harry Potter fans for years.

It's filled with beautiful tributes to the loyal house elf and reads: “Here lies Dobby, a Free Elf”.

In other Harry Potter news, earlier we told you how Daniel Radcliffe has admitted to having a secret crush on Helena Bonham Carter during their HP days.

Reading out a note he sent to Helena, Daniel said: “Dear HBC, it was a pleasure being your co-star and coaster in the fact I always ended up holding your coffee.

“I do love you and I wish I’d just been born ten years earlier so I might’ve been in with a chance.”

You can read more on that here.
