While the cold breeze and heavy snowfall has caused traffic chaos and has shut down some schools, pet lovers are taking full advantage of the weather and walking their four-legged friends out in the snow.
Weather warnings have been issued for snow, ice and fog across the country with forecasters saying that it had been a 'very, very cold night'.
And now impressive pictures and videos of dogs running in the snow have now flooded social media platforms.

But while we are all complaining about the freezing temperatures, the cold weather doesn't bother our furry friends and in fact, they enjoyed jumping and rolling around in the white stuff.

Although some of the shorter-legged doggos have struggled to make their way through the snowfall. We feel you, pooch.
