This Process Of Making A Cup Of Tea Has Left People Horrified

"Everything about this is wrong and it is causing intense anxiety."

There are some people in this world who simply do not deserve nice things like tea, especially when they go and do something as heinous as this with it:

The alternate process of making tea - thought up by photographer and seemingly professional wrong'un, Mac Praed - sees the sugar go in first, followed by the hot water, milk and finally the tea bag, which is placed in the cup for a mere six seconds.

We honestly can't.

The video was shared by Mac's girlfriend Holly Harley, with the caption "My boyfriend has made the worst video in the world," and we cannot agree more.

Understandably the reaction on social media to what Holly described as a "criminal offence" was nothing short of vitriol.

"Surely you mean 'ex-boyfriend'?," someone quizzed Holly.

"Everything about this is wrong and it is causing intense anxiety," felt another.

"My wife @DowdAnnadowd67 puts teabag, milk and sugar in the mug while the kettle boils and then adds the water. Been married 17 years and this video has emboldened me to speak out," shared a third.

While some took his heinous act seriously, the man behind the cuppa, 29-year-old Mac, told PRETTY 52 that the loathsome creation was all down to a bit of good old friendly trolling.

"I thought it would be funny to see how everyone would react to tea being made in an unconventional way, and didn't realise how strongly everyone would feel about it," says the Londoner.

"I'm surprised by the amount of people defending the method however, and the amount of questions about whether that's how I actually take my tea!"

Holly's video has since been retweeted over 7,600 times and liked over 43,000.

Responding to comments, Holly said: "We've been together for more than a decade so I'm mostly immune to this sort of troll... He is the living embodiment of 'the devil makes work for idle hands'."

You're not wrong there, Holly. Let's just hope he doesn't inflict this awful cuppa on your house guests.
