Nando's is always a subject of hot debate. Do you like it hot or go for mango and lime? It's a passion point for many...
But those who favour the fruity flavouring are about to be in for a big shock, as it has now been removed from the menu, along with four more of the chicken chain's most popular items. Noooo!

The first tasty dish that has been removed is the fillet steak and chargrilled vegetable wrap, while the pitta with the same filling has also been taken off for good.
The sweet potato mash, sweet potato and butternut squash sides have also been purged.
Meanwhile, if you're one of those people that orders a side of feta with your meal you'll also be in for a disappointment, as that's no longer on the menu.
But it's not all bad news.

A Nando's spokesperson told Tyla: "Sweet Potato Mash, Sweet Potato and Butternut Squash, Feta Cheese and Fillet Steak & Chargrilled Veg have also been removed and replaced with other seasonal sides and menu items.
"Various dishes will be updated every four months in order to add newness for Nando's customers."
Yep, NANDO'S NEWNESS.
They added: "'Passionfruit & Mango' has replaced 'Mango & Lime', new seasonal sides will change with each new menu and we have also added 'Vegan' PERinaise."

While these sound exciting, there are naturally some who are seething to see their favourite menu items go.
"I really am pissed off nandos has stopped sweet potato mash & feta cheese :/," one wrote.
While another added: "Just discovered that @NandosUK have replaced Lime & Mango. New version is not even close! No need for 'seasonal' variations, just give us the thing we like :( #meddling #limeandmango #nandos #lunchofdisappointment".
"Nandos can suck their mum for getting rid of sweet potato mash from their menu," another rather aggressively fumed.

A fourth angrily added: " @NandosUK what the hell are you playing at, getting rid of the sweet potato mash??! I was genuinely offended when I got to the till and was told it wasn't on the menu, distraught, actually in bits. I can't believe you've done this to me!"
To which Nando's responded on Twitter: "Hey, unfortunately all good things must come to an end.
"We like to keep our menu fresh and exciting but we do apologise if this happens to affect one of your favourite items. We'll certainly pass your feedback onto our Food team for consideration!"
