McDonald's Worker Reveals How To Order Secret 'Mega Mac'

We all love a McDonald's, right? But there are some rare occasions when even a large Big Mac and fries just doesn't quite hit the spot.

However, there are ways to max out your order, according to one former employee of the fast food chain who has lifted the lid on Maccies' 'secret menu'.

Fast food fans have likely heard myths about the hallowed McDonald's 'secret menu' which has circulated for years, which has included monstrous burgers which aren't on the official menu.

Jack, who claims to have been a crew trainer at the fast food chain between 2015 and 2019, responded to a question on Quora from a fan who wanted to know once and for all if the secret items really existed.

While he busted rumours of there being a secret menu, he added: "You have the ability to customise almost anything on the menus.

"Thanks to social media, I have customers ask for crazy items such as the 'Mega Mac' or the 'Land, Air and Sea burger.'

"This isn't on our menu nor are we trained to create these orders. I usually ask the customer what the item consists of and what they would like to add. I usually remember these items for the next person that asks."

For those of you intrigued, a Mega Mac (or Monster Mac, as it is also known) is your regular Big Mac - but with six extra beef patties shoved in, making for an astonishingly greasy total of eight burgers in total.

If that sounds a touch too gut-busting for you, you could try the legendary 'Land, Air and Sea burger', which consists of two beef burgers, a Fillet-O-Fish and a McChicken burger all sandwiched together. The burger gets its name for beef representing land, fish indicating the sea and chicken standing in for air (despite the fact that chickens don't fly).

A spokesperson for McDonald's refused to confirm the existence of the 'secret menu', but told Tyla: "We know how much our customers enjoy customising their orders through our My McDonald's App, and we're lovin' some of the creations we've seen so far!"
