You Can Now Get Paid To Eat Steak In The Pub With Your Mates

With pubs back open, you probably don't need much of an incentive to go visit your local.

But one thing that would definitely make grabbing a pint that bit better is a steak meal. And better still? One that the pub pays you to have.

That's right, the pub chain Greene King's Pub & Grill is looking for a "Grill Seeker" - someone whose job it is to eat steak and give their opinions.

The lucky meat lover will have to get together five friends/family members and sample the pub brand's seasonal menu that launched on 3^rd June.

Apart from trying out products like their brand new 32oz Tomahawk steak, the Grill Seeker will also receive £1,000. An entire one grand just for your pub lunch!

All you need to do is visit your local Pub & Grill on different occasions with five of your nearest and dearest. Then, just give your feedback on how your experience was.

However, this is not a role to be taken lightly. You have got to know your stuff.

Carrie Nelmes, marketing manager at Greene King's Pub & Grill, said: "This is a hugely important position, so we're looking for a real steak connoisseur; someone who knows their rumps from their sirloins and their ribeyes from their fillets."

While you do need to know your stuff, you don't need to have done this sort of thing professionally before. Nelmes added: "No previous experience is required for the role, just truly talented taste buds"

"[I]f you think you've got what it takes, fill out an application form and let us know why you should to become our first official Grill Seeker. We've fired up the grill, now all we need is you!".

For anyone that wants to be considered as the brand's official Grill Seeker, applications are only open until Monday, 14th June.

You also have to convince Greene King in only 250 words or less why you believe you are ideal for the role.
