Hands up if you're guilty of picking all the raisins out of your hot cross bun? *Raises hand*.
Well, good news if that's you because Asda is now selling chocolate hot cross buns filled with melt-in-the-mouth chunky chocolate chips instead and tbh it's the best news we've heard all week.
The latest addition was brought to our attention by the NewfoodsUK Instagram page, where followers have been taking to the comments to express their excitement.

"Chocolate Chip Hot Cross Buns are back... Easter is coming," they wrote.
The sweet Easter treats are part of the supermarket's Extra Special range and come in a pack of four.
Loaded with chocolate chips, the sweet and gooey buns are the ideal alternative for those who aren't a fan of dried fruit.

While many followers were excited over the chocolate buns, others complained it was "too early" for the traditional Easter treats.
One said she wasn't even "through her mince pies yet" while another commented: "Easter when we have only just done Christmas?! Absolutely crazy."
While Easter is still almost four months away, it seems the supermarkets are preparing early this year after Cadbury's Creme Egg Choc Cakes hit the shelves in Asda last week.

The scrumptious treats come in a pack of six and comprise a delicious chocolate sponge topped with a gooey Creme Egg fondant.
Coated in a layer of thick, milk chocolate, the spongey cake bars hit shelves are now available nationwide.
Meanwhile, Greggs' vegan Steak Bake has just launched in stores. Almost identical to its meaty counterpart, the mouthwatering puff pastry treat is filled with chunks of Quorn mycoprotein, diced onions and delicious, rich gravy.

While the bakes are currently available at selected stores, they are being rolled out to a further 700 shops on 16th January.
