Aldi Is Selling A Giant Ferrero Rocher For Christmas

Aldi is officially launching a giant Ferrero Rocher in time for Christmas, and it looks absolutely glorious.

According to the Grocer, The Specially Selected Chocolate & Praline Dome is landing in stores as a limited edition frozen item from October 26th, and will be available throughout the holiday season.

With the same flavours as its mini counterpart, the giant dessert is filled with a milk chocolate and hazelnut mousse, milk chocolate feuilletine and a cocoa sponge cake, and covered in a hard chocolate and hazelnut shell.

You can defrost the dessert an hour before you want to serve it, and then - voila! - you've got yourself a real dinner party showstopper.

The Ferrero Rocher dessert joins another mouthwatering addition - the Chocolate & Salted Caramel Layered Bar.

This is made up of a dark chocolate and hazelnut mousse with a praline feuilletine and a salted butter caramel mousse topped with a delicious chocolate biscuit and encased in a dark chocolate shell.

Mmmm.

An Aldi spokesperson told the publication: "No one knows exactly how the situation will have changed by December but one thing we're sure of is that Christmas won't be cancelled.

"What we're going through now and have been through, means people are going to be even more focused on celebrating with their household, sharing food and drink and gifts with their families, and that's where Aldi comes in."

We don't yet have an idea on prices, but we've contacted Aldi and we'll let you know as soon as we have more deets.

If you're more of a savoury person then there's plenty for you, too.

The new Christmas range includes everything from heavenly-sounding truffle pigs in blankets (yum!) to a multi-roast birds (meaning three birds in one, FYI).

We'll also see the return of the fan-favourite Two-Metre Long Pig in Blanket, ideal for families who don't do Christmas by halves.

There are Loaded Mini Yorkshire Puds, too, laden with sausage stuffing balls and crowned with a pig in blanket. Mmm!
