Olaplex Launches Shampoo And Conditioner To Rescue Bleached And Damaged Hair

If you bleach your hair, you will know that Olaplex is the holy grail product to save your locks during the damaging lightening process.

But the treatment is no longer salon-only as the haircare brand has just launched a shampoo and conditioner version here in the UK.

Olaplex's original treatment includes a patented active ingredient which repairs the broken bonds in your tresses, restoring your hair to its former glory prior to heat-styling, bleaching and perming.

It offers the hair a tidal wave of moisture, rescuing brittle, broken hair ravaged by bleach.

Steps one and two were in-salon allowing colourists to work miracles, with step three was an at-home treatment.

The new shampoo and conditioner make up step four and five of this repairing process, meaning your hair stays shiny and silky soft 24/7. Both are sulphate, paraben and gluten-free as well as vegan friendly, working in the same way as the hero treatments.

Olaplex's shampoo repairs hair bonds while gently cleansing hair giving it a boost of both moisture and strength.

The conditioner also promises to further rescue the hair and restore hydration levels, promoting strong strands and eliminating frizz along the way. It also has a lightweight formula to ensure it doesn't weigh you hair down.

You can pick up one of each from Cult Beauty, both with a £24 price tag. The third step treatment is also available for the same price.

The products launched in the US earlier this year, and the original treatment found fans in A-list celebrities like Kim Kardashian.

Kim, who has switched her dark tresses to bleach blonde on numerous occasions, swears by sleeping in the treatment overnight to keep her locks as healthy as possible.

Olaplex recommends leaving step three on for a minimum of 10 minutes, as a pre-shampoo treatment.
