Marks and Spencer has launched a skirt version of its yellow animal-print dress that was a cult hit over the summer.

Good new if you missed out on the sellout piece - the skirt is being sold online and in stores now at £35.

It is proving to be very popular with just several sizes left online, so move quickly if you want to get your hands on it.

The skirt is A-line and midi length, which flatters all body shapes.

The description reads: "A fabulous pick for your formal events, our midi skirt has a touch of royalty about it with its gorgeous look and style.

"Printed with an intriguing and imaginative pattern, try wearing this A-line skirt with a pair of ankle boots and a pastel coloured blouse for a chic ensemble."

Customers have left rave reviews of the skirt on the Marks and Spencer website, giving it a score of 4.5 out of 5.

One wrote: "Very flattering cut and drape. Good colour and will be easy to dress down with ankle boots and jumper or dress up with heels and blouse - what's not to love?"

Another said: "Praise be! A fantastic print, flattering shape, great length - and it ain't leopard! I've nothing against animal print, (I have my fair share), but I suspect by Christmas we might all be a little bit over it.

"This skirt is the perfect antidote to the Big Cat craze. A gorgeous, rich piece that will look great with a snuggly cable knit and boots during the day; a silk pussycat bow blouse and skyscraper heels at night. Oh - and it's lined!"

"I am really pleased with this skirt as I can't really wear yellow or gold shades near my face but with a dark brown top this will look great," another wrote on the M&S website. "The elasticated waist makes it comfortable and I have been able to size down. I also think the length will be good with knee high brown suede boots."
