Popular UK safari announces ‘kids go free’ offer on until end of February

February half-term is just around the corner...

Good news for parents out there wondering what to do with their little ones this February half-term, as a popular UK safari has just announced an exciting 'kids go free' offer on until the end of February.

Parents and guardians alike will be happy know the safari park, which is home to lions, buffalo and baboons as well as a whole load of other wildlife, won't be too costly at all as kids can experience the attraction totally free until February 29.

Pete Johnson, who is Deputy Team Manager of the Carnivores at the park, and who starred of the Channel 4 Secret Life of the Safari Park docuseries, has invited families to Knowsley Safari Park, based in Prescot, and offered visitors the chance to either walk or drive around the park to see the animals as they go about their lives in their natural habitats.

But, not to worry if you're worried about getting your car damaged, as there’s also a special safari bus covered in ropes and ladders for visitors to hop on-board instead.

Knowsley Safari announced the news on its website, telling visitors to 'start 2024 with an adventure' with kids' entrance being free as long as they are accompanied with a full-paying adult to make it 'an even more affordable day out'.

The website reads: "If you’ve enjoyed watching Secret Life of the Safari Park on Channel 4, experience your own wild trip this winter!" the website reads.

"Watch our majestic pride of African lions walk right past your car; check in on Crumpet, the congo buffalo calf who’s growing up fast and don’t miss the hilarious antics of our mischievous baboons in the monkey jungle!"

The offer comes just in time for February half-term.

The message continues: "With so many amazing animals to see, book your tickets now for a winter day out you won’t forget in a hurry at Knowsley Safari."

Rachel Scott, head of marketing at the Knowsley Safari Park, also added: "Secret Life of the Safari Park has given people behind-the-scenes access to the Safari that’s never been shown before.

"Now is a great time for viewers to come and experience in real life the wild adventures they’ve seen on TV – and the Kids Go Free offer makes it a little easier for families to bring the magic alive from now, during half term and right through to the end of February."
