Finding out your partner has been unfaithful is heartbreaking under any circumstances, but for one man, the revelation took him quite by surprise.
How, you ask? Well, this man discovered his girlfriend did the dirty while using the loo. Literally.
It seems his partner's side piece had decided to tell him that she was being unfaithful by sticking a note under the toilet seat.

In a clip that has gone viral on TikTok, the original tweet upon which the video is based on reads: "My girlfriend cheated on me when I was out of town, and the guy left me this note under the toilet seat."
The man his girlfriend had slept with had scrawled a note on a crumpled up bit of paper, and stuck it under the toilet seat, stuck on with black tape.
The note reads: "This chick just told me she has a boyfriend the morning after.
"Sorry to tell you like this, but I'd want to know if I was you. Sorry bro."

The comments were quick to praise the fling for his loyalty and his quick thinking.
"Bro's a real one," wrote one person, while another added: "Okay but he is the smartest dude alive.
A third asserted: "He's a real homie," while a fourth joked: "I'm going to do this at my mate's house and just watch the fireworks."
Others were more curious about the circumstances around the note.

"Where did he get the tape?" one person rightly pointed out.
Another asked: "If he went through your stuff to find a pen, paper and duct tape, he probably took some stuff."
This is not the first time someone has used TikTok to share their story about getting cheated on.
One woman shared that she discovered her husband had been unfaithful by reading the newspaper - and seeing her ex's name listed as having had welcomed a new baby with another woman. Ouch.
