Netwest, Ulster Bank and RBS customers have been left stuck after a glitch locked everyone out of their online and mobile banking accounts this morning.
The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has apologised to its customers who are unable to access its online services and confirmed that customers across all three of its brands were affected by the glitch.
In a statement to its customers, Natwest, RBS and Ulster Bank said: "We are aware that customers are currently experiencing issues logging into their online and mobile banking accounts.

"We could like to apologise for the inconvenience. We are aware of the problem and are working to fix the issue.
"Customers can still use ATMs and telephone banking."
Initially it was thought that Natwest customers were the only ones affected, however it was later discovered that the issues were widespread across RBS.
Frustrated customers took to Twitter to vent about the glitch, with many complaining that their local branches had already been shut so they were unable to do any banking.

The glitch has come just a day after Barclays customers reported difficulties in getting into their online accounts.
