You're all a bunch of Scrooges.

There are several sure fire signs that Christmas is on the way: When all the cafes start stocking their Christmas sandwiches, when Black Friday sales begin and, of course, when Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas starts playing on the radio.

Nothing quite gets us in the festive spirit like her unrivalled vocal range. But, it seems, there are a lot of people who disagree.

A new survey from Huawei has revealed that 'All I Want For Christmas' is actually Brits' most annoying and repetitive festive song of all time.

Other songs ranked highly in the Huawei poll were less of a surprise.

'Do They Know It's Christmas?' by Band Aid came in second place, while 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday' by Wizzard came third.

In a somewhat debatable move, 'Merry Xmas Everybody' by Slade was next in the list of most annoying tunes, while 'Last Christmas' by Wham! came in fifth (what's wrong with you people?!).

Next in the string of Christmas songs that grind people's gears were 'Fairytale of New York' by The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl, the somewhat outdated 'Baby It's Cold Outside' by Tom Jones and Cerys Matthew and 'Santa Claus is Coming to Town' by Jackson 5.

'Santa Baby' by Eartha Kitt also didn't escape the list, and - at number ten - 'Jingle Bells' by The Andrews Sisters also made the cut.

Despite vehemently disagreeing with Queen Mariah's positioning at the top of this list, it's unsurprising that the song is no longer to everyone's taste, seeing as it was played 11 million times on Christmas Eve alone last year. If you aren't a Mariah super-fan, we can understand how this might be overkill.

But when the song turned 25 this year, the pop diva made it clear she certainly isn't done with the track just yet.

Mariah Carey released a new video for 'All I Want for Christmas is You' with new footage

One day after Halloween, Mariah dropped a brand new version of the track's iconic music video, featuring never before seen re-cut footage.

And just to whet our appetites for the big day a little more, she also announced a deluxe anniversary edition of her 1994 album 'Merry Christmas', and revealed she would be heading out on a holiday tour. Plus, she's also starring in a Walkers Christmas advert, too.

So for any haters, there really is no escaping her.

But we say long live 'All I Want For Christmas', you're all a bunch of Scrooges.
