In what sounds like the plot of a Disney movie, 101 daschunds have been rescued from households in Greater Manchester suspected of illegal dog breeding.
Hmm, 101 dogs rescued - sounds familiar. Although we can confirm Cruella de Vil had absolutely zero involvement in this one.
The pooches were removed from nine properties in Rochdale, Oldham and Salford that are thought to be selling numerous dogs with no license - something that is not allowed under English breeding regulations.
The regulations were tightened this year in a bid to end puppy farming and the often terrible living conditions associated with it.

Pups farmed for quick cash are often taken away from their mums too soon, raised in unpleasant conditions and the mums forced to have litter after litter - treated as nothing more than money spinning machines.
As for the buyers of those pups, they have no idea if their dog has been subjected to a bad start in life which can cause socialisation problems later.
Since the regulations have been made stricter, it seems councils are clamping down on the bad practice.
And this particular dog bust was made by Rochdale Borough Council's partnership enforcement team, who have now placed all the dogs into the care of the RSPCA.

Mark Widdup, director of neighbourhoods at Rochdale Borough Council, said: "It is really pleasing that we have been able to execute the warrants successfully and place the dogs into care."The investigation began back in September 2019 as a result of residents' complaints and reports of dogs being sold by suspected breeders.
But if you're thinking you could be in the market for a cute cuddly sausage dog, you can't have one of the 101 just yet.
The individuals involved are still under investigation, so if you've bought a dachshund within the borough of Rochdale in the last 12 months, contact Rochdale Borough Council's environmental health team on 0300 303 8871.
