Lorraine Kelly was left blushing on Tuesday (13 September) when hit-maker Lewis Capaldi offered the presenter ‘seven inches of me’.
Capaldi let the cheeky comment slip while promoting his new single Forget Me, and as an awkward smile crept across Kelly’s face he clarified his comment. Watch the moment unfold below:
The singer said: “There you go, my seven inch... record. Sorry.”

Kelly handled the situation like a pro, telling Capaldi: “I love vinyl,” as she thumbed his latest release
Ever the joker, Capaldi then quipped: "Yeah that's actually a Bastille record that's inside it so please don't open it, that's a mistake on our part."
Viewers quickly took to social media to share just how much the moment made them giggle, with one person writing: “Offering Lorraine 7 inches of him is the funniest thing av ever seen.” [sic]
Another added: “@LewisCapaldi presenting 7 inches of me to @lorraine. Don't open it. Awww had me crying laughing. Glad to see him back .” [sic]

Elsewhere in the interview, Capaldi confirmed he’d be ‘back on tour at some point’ and even opened up about a recent breakup.

"I'd split up with someone, a lady, and I was looking at her Instagram and she looked too happy for my liking. My blood was boiling, if I'm honest,” he shared.
The popstar added: "I was like 'You're supposed to be miserable'. I'm over it now though, obviously".
Capaldi also touched upon his recent Tourette's syndrome diagnosis, telling Kelly: “It made a lot of sense, I raise my eyebrows quite a lot. I do this shoulder thing, I take these deep breaths every now and then.”
He added: "I thought I was dying, I'm a bit of a hypochondriac. I thought I had some kind of degenerative disease, but I don't. So good news on that front.”
