Tributes Pour In For CBBC Star Mya-Lecia Naylor Who Died Aged 16

Tributes have started pouring in for CBBC star Mya-Lecia Naylor, who has died at the age of 16.

Mya-Lecia starred in CBBC programmes Millie Inbetween and Almost Never, where she worked alongside Emily Atack, Fleur East and Tess Daily.

While the cause of her death remains unknown, her representatives A&J Management confirmed she passed away on 7th April.

The talent agency wrote: "It is with the deepest sorrow we have to announce that on Sunday 7th April Mya-Lecia Naylor, very sadly, died.

"Mya-Lecia was hugely talented and a big part of A&J, we will miss her greatly. Our love and thoughts are with all her family and friends at this difficult time."

Since the tragic news broke, tributes from celebrities and fans have begun pouring in for the young actress.

Inbetweeners and I'm A Celeb star Emily Atack took to Instagram to lead the tributes to her co-star, writing: "So shocked and sad to hear about lovely Mya-Lecia Naylor. She was a beautiful and talented girl. A complete joy to be around on the set of Almost Never. Sending all my love to her family & friends. Rest in peace beautiful."

Game of Thrones Nathalie Emmanuel tweeted: "Very sad to hear the tragic news of Mya-Lecia Naylor's passing. She was a part of the @aj_management family who represent me in the UK.

"Although I did not know her personally, I wanted to send my condolences to her family, friends and colleagues at this difficult time."

Mya-Lecia's The Wonderland co-star Oakley Orchard wrote: "Rest in peace to my little pink wafer. Absolutely devastated, will miss all the fun times we had together."

Fellow co-star Nathaniel Dass wrote: "We are all going to miss you so so much and Almost Never won't be the same without you.

"The most beautiful girl inside and out, kind and funny I will never forget you and thank you for being a part of my life."

Tillie Amartey added: "Rest forever in peace my beautiful angel you are loved and always will be your legacy lives on in all of us we will do you proud I promise."
