Chrissy Teigen Reminds Critics About Pregnancy Loss After Backlash For Saying She Has 'Nothing' During Pandemic

Chrissy Teigen has clapped back against a Twitter critic, after one fan took issue with the model saying she had "nothing".

The 35-year-old, who regularly updates her fans on her day-to-day life, recently revealed she had taken up horse riding under the guidance of her therapist.

Chrissy is currently undergoing counselling after tragically suffering a miscarriage of her third child with husband John Legend.

Sharing a picture of her new horse on Twitter over the weekend, she wrote: "My therapist says I need something that I do for just me, as I have absolutely nothing currently lol.

"Today begins my journey into the horse world. I hope this dude likes me he's so handsome and appears lazy, I love."

However, one person misinterpreted Chrissy's comments, and criticised the star for saying she "had nothing."

"A lot of people are unemployed and struggling to feed their family in the midst of a pandemic," they wrote. "Maybe now isn't a great time to say you 'have nothing' so you bought a horse to entertain yourself."

Chrissy chose to respond directly to the person who commented, and elaborate on what she meant.

"A lot of you really misinterpreted this tweet and I guess that's on me," she said. "I didn't say I have nothing, I said I have nothing I do for just me.

"A convo with a therapist. A hobby. Cause I lost a baby. And I'm figuring myself out. And I didn't buy a horse. But oh my god, what if I did?"

Chrissy has recently acknowledged she will never be pregnant again after losing baby Jack last year.

In a candid Instagram post, the personality wrote: "This is me and my body, just yesterday. Even though I'm no longer pregnant, every glance in the mirror reminds me of what could have been. And I have no idea why I still have this bump, honestly. It's frustrating.

"But I'm proud of where this entire journey took my body and mind in other ways. I love being pregnant, so so much, and I'm sad I never will be again.

"I am lucky to have two amazing little ones who are transforming into big little people more and more every single day. Anyhoo. Love you guys."
