You Can Bathe Under The Night Sky At This UK Festival

You Can Bathe Under The Night Sky At This UK Festival

This looks dreamy.

If bathing under the stars at a festival is your idea of the ultimate weekend, then look no further.

Wildnerness Festival will return for 2022 and has recently announced what visitors can expect from this year's line up - and it sounds seriously dreamy.

Taking place from Thursday 4th - Sunday 7th August, there'll be plenty of music, mouthwatering dining experiences and breathtaking scenery, with tranquil swimming lakes and heaps of outdoor activities.

One of the most luxurious experiences at Wilderness is the The Lakeside Spa, where visitors can spend hours bathing under the stars.

Wilderness explain: "In a hidden glade beside a crystal clear swimming lake, balance yourself in wood-fired hot tubs and sauna hewn from the finest red cedar.

"Let the sauna soothe away symptoms of the previous night’s frivolity. Unwind in a steaming hot tub as the dappled summer sun glistens across the lake or enjoy a glass of bubbly while the sun sets between the trees."

Sounds like bliss!

If you fancy something a little more active, there really is something for everyone, with other outdoor activities including wild swimming, yoga, archery, horse riding, 'hunter, gather, cook', wild medicine walks and boating.

Of course, it's not a festival without music, and this year, Underworld, alongside music duo Jungle and Years & Years will be headlining.

And when the sun goes down, prepare to dance into the early hours under a starlit canopy on the forest dancefloor.

There'll be DJ sets from Grammy-award winning record producer and DJ David Morales, underground house veteran Derrick Carter and Irish-born producer Krystal Klear.

Of course, Wilderness isn't complete without some incredible dining experiences. Expect leading female chef Skye Gyngell, Michelin-starred chef Adam Handling and Swedish chef Niklas Ekstedt.

Meanwhile Will Devlin of The Small Holding will showcase a home-grown menu, working closely with local producers to rustle up some delicious dishes.

"This year's Chef’s Table will champion chefs who are leading the way to close the loop by minimising their impact on the environment with innovative, forward-thinking cooking techniques and sourcing methods," Wilderness explain.

Also returning this year is The Social Pantry, which will take over The Wilderness Kitchen offering the UK’s only Vegetarian & Vegan Feast within a festival setting.

"Alex Head’s female-run Social Pantry will host some of the country’s most exciting female chefs for an exciting eco-friendly banquet. Hosting a day each, Ottolenghi’s right-hand woman Noor Murad will be bringing flavours and aromas inspired by her upbringing in Bahrain to the Kitchen, joined by Bubala Head Chef Helen Graves whose Middle Eastern-flavoured vegetarian dishes have taken London’s restaurant critics by storm," they continue.
