You Can Now Celebrate Galentine's Day in a Hot Pink Italian Villa

Mark your calendars ready for the best Galentine's ever.

Ahhh Valentine's Day.

Traditionally a day for grand gestures, chocolates and roses by the dozen, it can be a tad boring for singletons forced to watch the sickeningly loved up displays - which is why Galentine's Day was invented and placed on 13th February instead.

If you haven't heard of it yet, it's V-Day reinvented for ladies who are single and want to spend it with their gal pals, or who are in a couple, but who also want to mark their love for their friends. Sounds epic and a lot less of a cringe-fest, doesn't it?

And if you're on board with the day, we have found the perfect way for you to spend it - in a hot pink Italian villa surrounded by your nearest and dearest ladies.

What could be better than celebrating your girly friendship than in a pretty pink abode that was originally a small monastery, set above the bay of Positano - the prettiest place in all of the Amalfi Coast.

Set amongs a row of terraces, complete with a garden adorned with lemon trees and bougainvilleas and offering views over the beautiful Positano sea, this is one seriously dreamy place to spend Valentine's week in. Plus, it's even more boujee thanks to its ornate baroque-style interior, painted ceilings and antique furniture.

Villa Anastasia even comes with a pizza oven and its very own spa area complete with an inside heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room and an outside hot tub - we think we just died and went to heaven.

Even in the less sunny month of February with highs of just 14C, guests can relax in the inside pool and warm up in one of two jacuzzis. Yes please.

It may not be warm enough for a dip in the sea, but there's plenty of other things you and your favourite gal pals can do on your getaway.

From indulging in pizza, seafood, mountains of tagliatelle and Caprese salads, to drinking limoncello and checking out the fabulous boutiques that line the cobbled hilly streets in the centre just one kilometre away - you won't even get bored if it rains.

You won't need to leave anyone behind either because the villa sleeps eight typically, but extra beds can be added to accommodate ten.

And we would recommend maxing out the guest list, because it won't be a cheap break. From 12th to 19th February (the villa requires minimum of a one week stay) it will cost £12,455. Between ten that works out at around £125 per person per night, which we think you'll agree is quite steep.

In fairness, cheap accommodation in Positano is rare in the much sought-after holiday destination thanks to its natural beauty, and arguably the cost reflects just how dreamy this villa is.
